Mô tả công việc
• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for electronic toys and small appliances using 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo)
• Select appropriate materials and plastic components suitable for mass production (e.g. injection molding, ultrasonic welding)
• Create and manage detailed and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all mechanical components
• Collaborate closely with
electrical engineers, industrial
designers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams
• Participate in prototyping, functional testing, and validation of new designs
• Solve mechanical design issues through root cause analysis and design iteration
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards (e.g., CE, ASTM, RoHS)
• Support cost analysis, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Provide clear documentation, drawings, and specifications to support production and sourcing teams
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical product design, preferably in toys, small appliances, or consumer electronics
• Strong experience in plastic part design and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, Creo)
• Familiar with BOM management tools or PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Arena)
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for toys and appliances is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
