Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Open for Fresher)

1. Mechanical Maintenance Management
Plan, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and reliably.
Handle and support breakdown maintenance, identify root causes of equipment failures, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor equipment performance and propose improvements to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
Participate in plant shutdown maintenance, including preparation of manpower, tools, equipment, and work plans.
Support installation, inspection, and modification of mechanical equipment when required.
Ensure adequate spare parts planning and inventory control for maintenance activities.
2. Safety & Compliance
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational standards.
Conduct inspections of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
Follow safety procedures and report any hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
Participate in occupational safety activities and promote safety awareness in the workplace.
3. Personnel & Teamwork
Work closely with maintenance teams and support team coordination to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
Maintain a positive working attitude and contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment.
Participate in technical training programs to continuously improve mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with internal departments such as production, engineering, and procurement to ensure maintenance work is carried out effectively.
Work with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to support maintenance activities and equipment requirements.
5. SAP Maintenance System
Use and update the SAP maintenance management system to record maintenance activities, monitor work orders, and manage spare parts.
6. Continuous Improvement
Participate in machine improvement and productivity improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
7. Other Duties
Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
Comply with company policies related to safety, environment, and energy management.
