Middle Data Analyst - Looker experienced [English fluent - Offer upto 60M]

About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Looker to design, develop, and maintain scalable analytical solutions.The ideal candidate has solid expertise in Looker, LookML, data modeling, semantic layers, BI best practices, and can translate business requirements into impactful dashboards and self-service analytics.
Candidates must base in Hanoi, work full-time in VMO's Office
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Design and develop enterprise-grade dashboards and analytical solutions using Looker.
Build and maintain LookML models, semantic layers, reusable metrics, and business logic.
Define data models, dimensions, measures, relationships, and KPIs to support self-service analytics.
Optimize queries, dashboards, and data models for performance and scalability.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytical solutions.
Implement and maintain data governance, access control, and security.
Drive BI best practices, dashboard standards, and effective data storytelling.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.
Prepare clear technical documentation and support international stakeholders.
Requirements
Looker & LookML - Must
Have
3+ years of hands-on experience with Looker and strong experience with LookML.
Strong knowledge of Looker data modeling, semantic layers, dimensions, measures, Explores, joins, and reusable metrics.
Experience developing and maintaining Looker dashboards, Looks, and analytical models.
Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data relationships.
Experience with query/model performance optimization for large datasets.
Familiarity with Looker development workflow, version control, and deployment.
BI & Data Analytics
Strong understanding of data modeling, BI architecture, self-service analytics, and KPI definition.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of data governance, security, and access management.
Business-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Experience working in English-speaking or global teams is a plus.
Nice to Have
Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or other modern data warehouses.
Experience with dbt or data transformation tools.
Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
Familiarity with Looker API, embedded analytics, or BI integrations.
Experience working in Agile/international teams.
