Middle Front-End Developer

Alpaca is a fast-growing tech company building software solutions for the insurance industry across SEA. Join our team to build and enhance platform for the Insurance domain. You will:

• Build and enhance our insurance platform for the insurance sector, serving regional clients (focused on Vietnamese)
• Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using ReactJS.
• Design and implement reusable, modular components for consistency and scalability.
• Integrate front-end features with APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate closely with BA, backend teams and QC in an Agile environment.
• Mentor 2 team members, guide code quality and support knowledge sharing.
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve product usability and performance.

Your skills and experiences

• 2+ years of experience in a Front-end Developer (ReactJS)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with responsive UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
• Good understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, MobX)
• Familiar with Git workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Has experience or is comfortable guiding Fresher/Junior Developers, and has an interest in becoming a Front-end team leader in the future.
• "Can do" attitude and result-oriented
• Open to learn new things and learn from others
• Good time management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences/ Information Technology/ Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Java
• Familiar with RESTful services, Docker
• Understanding Microservices, SOA
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge about Websocket is a plus
• Good writing and reading English skills is a plus
• Financial services/ Insurance industry domain knowledge is a plus
