1. Professional Responsibilities
Curriculum and Teaching Plan Management
• Implement and monitor teaching plans in accordance with the MOET curriculum for each educational level.
• Coordinate with academic departments and the training office to ensure alignment and integration between the MOET and international programs.
• Organize quality assurance activities, curriculum reviews, and improvements of teaching materials and textbooks.
• Ensure the curriculum content, duration, and learning outcomes comply with MOET requirements.
• Lead or collaborate on the development and updating of educational programs and plans.
Quality Assurance and Accreditation
• Carry out internal quality assurance processes and maintain evidence-based reports.
• Conduct regular reviews of teaching quality, student performance, and academic records.
• Supervise midterm, final exams, and national assessments (if any) to ensure fairness and accuracy.
• Ensure curriculum integration is efficient and not overwhelming for students.
Teacher Supervision and Support
• Organize regular subject team meetings to evaluate teaching and learning outcomes.
• Guide teachers in lesson planning, academic documentation, and reporting formats.
• Have learning visits and support teachers in addressing challenges related to teaching, classroom management, and administrative procedures.
• Collaborate in the development of teaching resources, assessments, and question banks aligned with competency-based learning.
• Propose improvements in teaching methods, classroom organization, and assessment tools.
Compliance and Inspections
• Stay updated with new regulations from MOET/Department of Education and inform relevant staff.
• Prepare necessary documents for internal and external inspections.
• Participate in school self-evaluations based on MOET standards.
• Manage student records including transcripts, report cards, and transfer documents.
• Prepare and submit periodic academic reports to the Board of Management and relevant authorities.
2. Coordination and Communication
Parent Relations
• Supervise and coordinate activities related to parent engagement.
• Guide and support collaboration between school and families.
• Organize parent-school partnership events.
• Collect feedback from students, parents, and teachers to improve the program.
Communication and External Relations
• Act as a liaison between the school and local educational authorities.
• Work with the communications team to accurately disseminate MOET-related information to parents.
• Respond to student and parent inquiries about the MOET program.
• Collaborate with departments and teachers to organize internal and external student competitions.
Teaching & Duties
• Participate in direct teaching up to 6 periods per week.
• Take part in assigned supervisory duties and rotational shifts during school operational hours to ensure safety and support for students and staff.
3. Management and Administrative Duties
Annual Planning and Implementation
• Contribute to building and monitoring the school year plan based on MOET requirements.
• Evaluate implementation progress and propose adjustments when needed.
• Integrate the MOET academic calendar into the school's overall planning.
• Submit related reports to the MOET Principal.
Human Resource Management and Development
• Propose organizational structures and job descriptions for related positions.
• Participate in recruitment processes including candidate sourcing, interviews, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement internal training programs to enhance staff capacity.
• Monitor staff performance and propose evaluations, commendations, or disciplinary actions.
• Foster a positive working environment through internal engagement activities and staff well-being initiatives.
Financial Oversight and Policy Implementation
• Support budget and
purchasing oversight to ensure transparency and efficiency.
• Communicate school policies and procedures to staff for proper implementation.
Regulations and Risk Management
• Participate in the drafting and revision of school regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a key member of the school's Safety Committee.
• Attend disciplinary meetings involving staff or students as needed.
• Manage risks within the scope of responsibilities and report incidents promptly (e.g., student violations, urgent inspections).
