About the Role
• We are looking for dedicated and passionate Music Specialists to join our school community, with opportunities available in Violin and Brass.
• Violin Teacher: Teach Middle School & High School students.
• Brass Teacher: Teach High School students.
• Candidates can apply based on their primary area of expertise. Experience in both Violin and Brass is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
• Design engaging lesson plans covering instrumental techniques, music theory, and musicianship.
• Teach and develop students' practical performance and musical skills.
• Lead rehearsals and prepare students for semester concerts, recitals, and school performances.
• Manage learning materials through Google Classroom and student grading via PowerSchool.
• Maintain effective communication with students and parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, student supervision, Creative Arts activities, and other school events.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom and follow all student safeguarding requirements.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Music or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching music/ instrumental lessons to children or teenagers.
• Strong expertise in Violin or Brass.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience in an international school environment is preferred.
• Experience with ensembles, orchestras, bands, or student performances is a plus.
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check and comply with child safeguarding policies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching music/ instrumental lessons to children or teenagers.
