Network Operator Center NOC/Networking

SoftNET is currently looking for an experienced Network Operator Center in Ha Noi City who will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of Network solutions for the national IT infrastructure.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring: Using monitoring tools to track the status of network devices and applications, and to monitor network performance
2. Send email (or call) to clients when the links Down. Keep update to clients until the link Up again.
3. Troubleshooting: Analyzing and troubleshooting support tickets, and responding to network alerts
4. Escalating issues: Documenting and escalating unresolved issues to Tier 2 support
5. Collaborating: Working with cross-functional teams to resolve network incidents.
6. Communicating: Interacting with stakeholders, such as network engineers, system administrators, managers, and customers.
7. Analyzing: Analyzing network data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
8. Assisting: Assisting with internal IT support items.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

1. Knowledge about Networking systems, methods, and device: OSI model, Internet protocol (IP), routing protocol, firewall, NAT...
2. Knowledge about computer systems, software and technology.
3. Ability to think through the problems and provide solutions.
4. Ability to work under strict deadlines and having clear milestones to achieve. Part of Network / Telephony Engineer job description includes being able to look into service delivery, carry out feasibility exercises, determine connectivity and prepare detailed, technical and operational documentation.

Preferred Experience and Education:

1. Graduated from University or college for majors: Telecommunication, IT Management, IT network, Computer network. The Engineer bachelor is a plus.
2. Network Certificates of IT such as: CCNA/JUPINER equal CCNA is required. Others CCNP, MCITP, MCSA, HP Unix, Oracle, Solaris Unix, Window [protected info] a plus.
3. Experience in working with Cisco device: Router, Switch (Catalyst, ASR, Nexus...) and monitor tool: Cacti, PRTG...
4. Very good at English skills: Speaking, listening, writing skill required.
