True Strive is looking for a Legal & Compliance Specialist/Intern to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. You will also review employees' work and provide advice on compliance.
To succeed in this role, you should be a reliable professional who is not afraid to speak their mind and stand by their decisions. You should be familiar with risk management and our industry's standards. If you also have a sharp business acumen, we'd like to meet you. - Providing advice for all legal matters affecting the Company;
- Reviewing, updating, and developing internal policies and procedures ;
- Research and update new laws and regulations relating to businesses and investments;
- Work closely with the Accounting & Operation team for daily/ monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports.
- Being in charge of controlling information disclosure of the Company;
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
- Updating and giving guidelines for application of regulations for Board of Management and departments;
- Reviewing and systematizing legal documents related to company's operation;
- Researching laws, legal and commercial practices of countries that have business relationships with;
- Guiding and supervising related departments to operate in accordance with laws;
- Coordinating with other departments in dealing with legal issues;
- Solving legal issues related to lawsuits, disputes, etc.;
- Involving in drafting and controlling internal rules and regulations in accordance with laws;
- Provide paralegal supports to the team
- Provide update on changes in laws and regulations which are relevant to the company business
- Translate documents and review translation work done by others
- Review contracts, agreements or any other documents in Vietnamese and English for compliance with the laws, legal regulations and requirements.
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
- Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
- Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
- Draft and revise company policies
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Skills, Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer
- Attractive salary package for good and potential candidates.

- Having experience in - Bachelor of Law;
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus
- BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field

- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML)
