Intern Recruitment Executive (Company Account Executive - Fully Remote)

We are Virtual Internships, an EdTech startup on a mission to bridge the gap between education and the workplace by making internships accessible to all.
Over the last four years, we've established partnerships with 12,000+ companies, 100+ universities, and supported thousands of students and graduates in becoming more employable via our online work experience product.

Your Role
We are a start-up that is scaling fast. Therefore, we are not hiring for someone to do repetitive work. We are hiring resilient and multi-faceted problem solvers. To thrive at VI, you will need a 'growth mindset' where you embrace the challenge of figuring something out.
This role will start as a 3-month full-time contract role. Depending on performance, there is potential for you to become a permanent Intern Recruitment Executive (Company Account Executive), with growth opportunities with our Career Pathway structure, or transition within the Host Company division.
What will the Intern Recruitment Executive (Company Account Executive) be trying to solve?
Working in a team of high-performing Account Executives & Managers, you will:
Be assigned participants (students or graduates) each month by the Head of Host Company Experience, and responsible for presenting and matching their professional potentiality with host companies
Manage account pipeline, including customer ICP sourcing, onboarding and upselling
Onboard companies around the world to our Host Company network by conducting vetting calls to ensure they meet our strict requirements to become a host for our participants
Once a company joins the network, you will act as the main point of contact to assist them throughout the placement process (e.g. preparing the Internship Project Plan, providing advice based on their intern needs)
What type of companies and participants will I work with?
You will be assigned to companies within your timezone coverage within various industries. This will enable you to gain a unique insight into various sector trends around the world, for example you may develop an understanding of the FinTech boom in Singapore, HealthTech growth in Australia, or Supply Chain re-emergence in China.
We work with companies in 70+ countries, so in the morning you might be speaking with an Australian company, around lunchtime you might be speaking with a Chinese company, and then towards the end of your day you might be speaking with a British company.
Participants are students or undergraduates from universities across the globe (North America, Europe, Africa, Australasia and other locations).
What does success look like in 3 months' time?
100% placements made by deadline
15 new company accounts added to our Host Company Network per month
Positive feedback scores from the internship participants
High satisfaction level from the companies (NPS)
Your Attributes
TLDR Version? You love (and excel at) working with people and want to be part of our mission.
As for the long version, you should have:
At least 6+ months of B2B sales/recruitment/job placement OR relevant experience
Fluency in English - (you don't need an IELTS, but if you did it would be 7.0+)
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced high-growth startup
Ability to work with targets and KPIs. You'll be comfortable providing regular progress reports to the Head of Company Experience
