Your Role
We're looking for passionate and self-driven interns to join our Growth Marketing team for a 3-month internship. These roles are a great opportunity for individuals interested in making a tangible impact while honing their marketing skills. One intern will work as a Lead Engagement Associate, focusing on company acquisition efforts, and the other as a Social Media Associate, contributing to our online brand presence and engagement strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Lead Engagement Associate - sitting within the Growth Marketing team focused on company acquisition.
Outreach Strategy Support: Assist the VP of Growth in identifying effective email outreach hooks and messaging angles for large-scale, targeted campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall growth and engagement strategies.
Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to host company emails across multiple inboxes, ensuring timely follow-ups to maintain engagement and drive lead conversion.
Quality Control: Review outgoing communications to confirm alignment with brand messaging, ensuring accuracy and the appropriate tone before sending.
Response Prioritization: Identify high-priority or complex inquiries and escalate these to the company development team for prompt attention.
Data Cleaning & Updating: Regularly update company names and other key details in spreadsheets to enhance personalization in email communications and improve automation accuracy for mass outreach campaigns.
Engagement Tracking: Track and log engagement metrics, such as response times and engagement rates, to aid in performance reporting.
Template Management: Support the updating and personalization of email templates to ensure ongoing relevance and engagement with host companies.
Alternative Channels Support: Leverage tools like LinkedIn to extend outreach efforts and connect with new leads in targeted segments.
Weekly Reporting: Summarize weekly trends in engagement, noting common questions or issues from host companies that could be addressed through updated templates or FAQs.
2. Social Media Associate - working closely with our Content Marketing Manager.
As a Social Media Associate, you'll play a vital role in enhancing our online presence, with a strong focus on content creation, community engagement, and social media growth.
Content Creation: Develop original, compelling content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Content Planning & Scheduling: Assist in creating and scheduling a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and seasonal themes, ensuring consistent posting and messaging.
Audience Engagement: Monitor social media accounts and actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, helping to build a strong online community.
Trend Analysis & Adaptation: Stay updated on social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas or formats (such as reels or stories) that could help reach new audiences.
Data Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on social media metrics, including follower growth, engagement rates, and post-performance, to provide insights into what resonates with our audience.
Content Quality Control: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and is accurate and visually engaging.
Cross-Channel Strategy Support: Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to support integrated campaigns, aligning social media content with email and other marketing initiatives.
Video Editing Support (Bonus): Assist with basic video editing for short-form content, enhancing posts with engaging visuals if you have this experience.
Weekly Reporting: Summarize weekly social media performance, identifying key trends and suggesting improvements for the upcoming content calendar.
Who We're Looking For
Your Attributes
Marketing Experience: Previous experience in marketing or related fields, especially in social media, content creation, digital marketing, lead generation, is highly preferred.
Self-Starter: Someone who's proactive, able to take initiative, and has created content independently.
Attention to Detail: Strong quality control mindset to ensure all communications and content meet high standards.
Creative and Engaging: Ability to develop fresh, engaging ideas for social media and email marketing to captivate our audience.
Data-Driven: Comfort with tracking and analyzing metrics to inform strategies and report insights.
Excellent Communication Skills: Fluency in English (you don't need to have an IELTS, but if you did, it would be 7.0+).
