RESPONSIBILITIES
Pattern-making
Create and refine garment patterns using Optitex 2D, ensuring alignment with design specifications. (3D ability is a plus but not required)
Coordinate closely with the 3D/DD team to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality output.
Leverage bilingual skills (English and Vietnamese) to support collaboration and communication. Not essential; willingness to learn English is the key.
Junior Designer Support
Provide technical guidance to junior designers on patterning and sample-related issues.
Review samples with designers and refine patterns to reduce errors, improve quality, and support smooth production and sampling.
Lead training sessions or workshops to build junior designers' technical skills and confidence in patternmaking, if needed.
Workflow & Team Efficiency
Manage project timelines, maintain quality standards, and address immediate technical challenges within the team.
Support conflict resolution and foster a collaborative, productive team environment.
Occasional resoponsibilities
Assist with unique or one-off projects requiring specialized pattern adjustments.
Explore and test new tools or methods as needed
QUALIFICATION
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years in pattern cutting within fashion or garment manufacturing.
Program Proficiency: Skilled in Optitex 2D; optional experience with Optitex 3D or CLO3D for digital sampling/pattern creation.
Bilingual: English and Vietnamese preferred; fluency not essential, willingness to improve English is valued.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, quality assurance, and error reduction.
Leadership: Proven ability to support and mentor team members with a proactive approach to challenges.
