Job Title: Plant Manager
Location:
Bao Minh Industrial Park, Ninh Binh, Vietnam A newly established FDI company- a legendary brand in textile solutions,
is looking for the Plant Manager. This role will be responsible for the daily operation and coordination of production unit, fabric sourcing, preparation, dyeing, finishing and coating, logistics coordination, and basic administration. This is a hands on leadership role, suitable for a practical manager able to supervise operations directly while reporting to overseas management.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operations
· Manage daily production
· Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
· Optimize machine efficiency, labour allocation, and material usage.
· Be the liason with the UK headquarters
Quality Control
· Ensure fabrics meet customer standards for appearance, width, weight, hand feel, and performance
· Handle inline quality checks and final inspection
· Prepare for customer or third‐party audits (when required)
· Team Supervision (Team size : 5 headcounts)
· Train operators and enforce basic SOPs and discipline
· Maintain a cooperative and stable working environment
Maintenance & Utilities
· Coordinate routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting
· Liaise with head office technicians when needed
· Monitor utilities usage (electricity, water, steam if applicable)
Logistics & Administration
· Coordinate raw material receipt and finished fabric dispatch
· Monitor stock levels of yarns, chemicals, and consumables
· Support basic production reporting for head office
· Ensure compliance with local regulations and factory rules
Safety & Compliance
· Enforce workplace safety and good housekeeping
· Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor and environmental regulations
· Maintain proper chemical handling and waste management practices
Requirements
· Experience managing small teams or small plants is essential
· Solid English skills both in writing and oral
· + 5 years experience in textile manufacturing and managerial role is preferable
