METECT is hiring a Precision Machining Workshop Manager to bring Japanese-style production discipline into our shop floor operations as we scale toward international manufacturing standards.
Location: Thon Yen Phu, Nguyen Van Linh Ward, Hung Yen (near Pho Noi A Industrial Zone)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Direct entire production activities of the precision machining workshop; plan and allocate manpower and CNC machines to ensure schedule, quality and cost targets.
Build and apply Japanese-style production management standards (5S, Kaizen, Visual Management) to actual workshop operations.
Control machining quality against drawings and material standards (SCM440, SS400, etc.); resolve technical issues and drive process improvement.
Train and mentor team leaders and workers on production discipline, labor safety and industrial work habits.
Report directly to the Board of Directors on progress, productivity and workshop issues.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (full-time program).
10+ years of experience managing production operations at a Japanese FDI mechanical factory.
Strong understanding of Japanese management standards and methods (5S, Kaizen, TPM, management by objectives).
Japanese or English proficiency preferred, for direct work with international partners and technical standards.
Disciplined, precise, with strong team leadership and accountability for results.
