Position Overview
Seoul Semiconductor is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing and Data Analyst to join our Pricing Team.
This role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies, analyzing market and sales data, conducting simulations, and providing actionable insights to optimize revenue and profit across our global LED product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales, pricing, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, elasticity studies, and competitive price benchmarking.
- Support optimal price setting by business group and key products, considering volume, competition, and profitability targets.
- Conduct simulations to forecast revenue, profit impact, and volume scenarios under different pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Monitor price realization performance and support corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Support quarterly and annual pricing reviews, management reports, and executive decision-making presentations.
- Ensure data integrity across pricing tools and systems and continuously improve data processes.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline pricing and analysis processes.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Pricing, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or similar roles (experience in a semiconductor or electronics company is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools or platforms (e.g., Minitab, R, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with pricing optimization concepts (e.g., price elasticity, contribution margin analysis).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in global B2B pricing strategy.
- Knowledge of LED, semiconductor, or electronics markets.
- Understanding of Incoterms, tariffs, and international trade pricing considerations.
