About The Role
We are looking for a
Product Development Engineer (Launch)
to drive the design and development of
high-speed cable assemblies
, ensuring smooth product launch and close collaboration between Design Center and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development & Launch
Support development and industrialization of IO External cable products
Review product concepts with manufacturing team and assess feasibility/capability
Conduct technical analysis (POC, failure analysis) and propose solutions
Drive activities related to FOT, FSV, DVP&R testing
Partner with Process Engineering to ensure product quality and design intent
Act as the bridge between Design Center and Manufacturing to remove barriers
Sustaining Engineering
Support products in mass production and launch phase
Investigate and resolve customer quality issues to ensure product reliability
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and yield improvement
Implement product modifications and extensions to expand market opportunities
Collaborate with local and global suppliers for product development
Execution Excellence
Support design and execution of new products to achieve faster time-to-market
Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred: Mechanical Design / Manufacturing Engineering
Experience
:4 years of experience in product design & development
Preferred: Experience in connectors or cable assemblies
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge in:
Plastic & sheet metal manufacturing
PCB integration & soldering
DFMEA, DFM
Good problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
English proficiency
Mandarin is a plus
