MISSION
Lead the identification of market opportunities and translate customer insights into innovative product concepts and strategic initiatives that drive the growth of Private Label (PL). Through market research, consumer and trend analysis, this role develops customer-centric product strategies, shapes product roadmaps, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Lead new projects to capture market opportunities and deliver business objectives.
ACTIVITIES
Define and build product concepts based on market research and customer insights.
Conduct market, consumer, and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Propose PL categories and sub-categories based on market insights, consumer demand, and business potential.
Define product proposals, product roadmaps, and commercial feasibility (target pricing segments, target margin, differentiation).
Define price architecture (Step-in / Good/ Better/ Best) for appropriate products and stores.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Collaborate with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers to the sourcings based on aligned products concept & commercial targets. Liaise with sourcing teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, MOQ, lead times, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-teams including Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure successful launches nationwide.
Own the PL Category P&L and Business Objectives.
Responsible for PL category business objectives and commercial targets set by the company.
Monitor category performance (sales, margin, rotation, pricing, activations) across Offline & Online to meet profitability targets.
Monitor execution of strategy across VM, Trade Plan, In-store, and Online touchpoints.
Actively propose ideas to outreach business objectives.
Lead new projects.
Responsible for planning new projects that capture market opportunities.
Coordinate cross-teams to ensure excellent execution.
Oversee financial targets and risk management of new projects.
COMPETENCIES
Functional skills:
Proven ability to research market trends, customers insights. Ability to convert market trends, customer insights, and data into commercial actions.
Experienced in developing product concepts & roadmap.
Advanced analytical capability with strong command of key retail KPIs
Full ownership of P&L (sales, margin, pricing, stock rotation...).
Strong cross-functional leadership across Sourcing, Supply Chain, VM, Trade Marketing, E-commerce, and Stores
Well-organized.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & ATTITUDE
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related fields
Experience
: 5-8 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or Commercial roles within Retail (Homeline, FMCG).
Language
: Fluent in Vietnamese, proficiency in English.
Office skills:
Proficient in MS Office, Excel. Experience with ERP / retail systems (SAP or equivalent) is preferred
Attitude
: Hardworking, strong ownership mindset, commercially driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure.
