Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager with over three years of experience to define the product vision and strategy for two key initiatives. This individual will be a product expert, focusing on what to build and why, while working directly with an external outsourcing team that will handle the day-to-day project management tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for creating innovative, user-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision for both projects, ensuring alignment with the company's core objectives. This includes the student platform, which aims to be a stable, globally accessible hub for learning and social interaction , and a software solution to optimize the travel itinerary and quotation process.
• Requirements & Feature Definition: Translate business goals and user needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
○ Student Platform: Define features for student engagement (chat, forums, gamification), e-learning with AI-powered personalized recommendations, and monetization opportunities.
○ Learning Management System (LMS): adopt and manage LMS and to introduce updated technology to support blended learning
○ Process Optimization: Outline the functionality for a drag-and-drop itinerary builder, a system for client change requests, and a client "self-service" function for instant quotes.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and optimize the user experience. This includes defining key engagement metrics and data collection strategies.
• External Team Collaboration: Act as the product expert with the development team's
project manager. Provide clear product direction, answer questions about requirements, and ensure the delivered product meets the defined specifications and quality standards.
• Market & User Research: Conduct ongoing research to understand user needs, market trends, and competitive offerings to inform the product roadmap.
• Integration & Scalability: Define requirements for system integrations with existing tools like Hubspot CRM and Xero. Ensure the products are designed for seamless scalability and global accessibility, particularly in regions with strict firewalls.
