Product Marketing Data Analyst (Remote/Contractor)

1. What you'll do:
- Work directly with the product & growth team to help analyze data, find insights, and provide solutions.
- Identify key metrics and build dashboards to visualize the business and product growth process.
- Own projects, data models, and dashboards and keep them high-quality and up-to-date.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define success metrics, create approaches to track the data, quantify and evaluate the data, and then develop a common language for all colleagues to understand these KPIs.
- Provide the cross-functional teams with ad-hoc analysis and automated dashboards so that everyone gets a good sense of the state of the business.
- Develop an in-depth analytical (user) understanding of what drives growth for the product and how it can be improved.
- Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a simplified and actionable format.
2. What you'll need:
- University degree preferably in Engineering, MIS, Management, or Statistics.
- 1-3 years experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.
- Proficient in data analysis, including defining KPI strategy and growth opportunities, time series analysis, data visualization
- Strong communication skills and an ability to break down complex information into relevant and digestible points
- Proficiency in data querying in SQL.
- Proficiency in programming in Python and R.
