This role is responsible for the full scope of product management, encompassing product knowledge, marketing enablement, sourcing and procurement, logistics coordination, manufacturer partnership, and regulatory compliance to ensure successful product development and market execution.
1. Product Strategy & Development
- Develop new product concepts based on market trends, customer insights, and company strategy.
- Propose product portfolio strategy and roadmap for new product launches.
2. Formulation, Active Ingredients & Manufacturer Coordination
- Work directly with overseas manufacturers on formulation, active ingredients, and technical product specifications.
- Review and verify formulation documents, ingredient lists, COA, and technical dossiers to ensure product safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all product specifications and quality standards are met throughout development and production.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Work directly with external regulatory agencies to prepare, submit, and follow up product registration dossiers to obtain product visa/approval.
- Ensure product claims, labels, packaging, and marketing materials comply with all applicable local regulations.
- Track submission progress and coordinate required corrections, updates, or supplemental documents until approval is granted.
4. Supplier Management & Product Quality
- Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers/suppliers to ensure stable and consistent product quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and coordinate improvement actions when needed.
5. Supply, Procurement & Inventory Management
- Coordinate
purchasing, importation, and end-to-end logistics (shipping, customs clearance, warehousing) to ensure timely product availability.
- Ensure all supply chain, procurement, and logistics activities comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Forecast product demand and collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing for replenishment planning.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages or overstock.
- Support product launches by ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of required materials
6. Scientific Communication & Training
- Provide scientific support and product knowledge to internal teams, distributors, KOLs, and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver product and technical training across relevant teams.
- Support preparation, translation, and review of technical and clinical documents.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or related field.
At least 03 years of experience in product or marketing role within functional food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry.
Experienced in product registration and familiar with regulatory requirements related to dietary supplements and medical devices.
Self-driven, proactive, and eager to work in a dynamic start-up environment.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in English (reading scientific materials) - Chinese is an advantage.
