Production Assistant Manager (Global F&B manufacturer)

1. Production Planning & Execution
• Develops and implements daily/weekly production schedules based on forecasted volume and actual customer orders.
• Determines material requisitions, ensuring the availability of raw materials and operating supplies.
• Allocates work schedules and job assignments to personnel, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Ensures all production equipment is inspected and certified fit for use before operations.
• Establishes contingency plans for backup production lines.
2. Operational Supervision & Efficiency
• Directs and oversees the entire production operation to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Supervises and evaluates production staff performance, including:
o Scheduling & task assignments
o Attendance monitoring
o Performance evaluation & reporting
o Authorizing overtime & leave requests
o Training & skill development
• Ensures adherence to in-process standards and operational procedures through:
o Regular training & orientations for team members
o Process control record maintenance
o Monitoring proper usage of equipment, tools, and materials
o Collaborating with engineering teams for maintenance and repairs
• Tracks and optimizes the consumption of materials to maintain standard yield rates and material balance.
• Ensures product traceability and maintains accountability within the production unit.
3. Quality & Compliance Assurance
• Ensures the workplace and production environment meet industry standards for safety and sanitation.
• Monitors staff compliance with hygiene protocols and operational safety procedures.
• Implements and maintains HACCP management system, updating as necessary to meet regulatory and internal standards.
4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare accurate and timely production reports for management review.
• Continuously seeks opportunities to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
