Production Management Trainee

We are a dynamic, medium-sized, globally operating group of companies with around 500 employees. Our headquarter is based near Pforzheim, Germany. The OBE group develops and manufactures precision mechanical components in large series for the optical industry using modern production methods.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Management Trainee to join OBE Vietnam. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in a structured 12-month training program in Vietnam and China, providing hands-on exposure to production management, manufacturing operations, and process improvement. Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee is expected to take on a professional role within the Production Management function and contribute to the long-term growth of OBE Vietnam. We are seeking ambitious, adaptable, and results-driven individuals who are eager to develop their careers in a dynamic international manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOUR YEAR LOOKS LIKE
▪ Work in every production area and learn setting, troubleshooting and changeover on our machines.
▪ Learn the quality requirements of our articles and how production, quality control and planning work together.
▪ Spend six months at the OBE Group plant in Shenzhen and bring that knowledge back to the team in Tam Ky.
▪ Interpret between Vietnamese, Chinese and English on the shop floor.
▪ Then take over as Production Management Assistant: data and failure analysis, root cause, cycle-time and machine improvements, project transfers, mold management, CAD support.
