JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side applications using Python.
Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and contribute to system improvements.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, OOP, and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including schema design and query optimization.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth2), microservices, and web architecture.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Testing: pytest/unittest; code style PEP 8; typing/annotations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice to have:
Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, ..)
Docker; ability to write/model design documents (UML, sequence/ER diagrams).
TDD; UI testing (Selenium/Playwright).
Data workflows: Airflow/Prefect; ETL/streaming basics.
Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
