• Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of incoming materials and finished products at the factory warehouse to ensure compliance with Japanese quality standards.
• Monitor production lines to comply with quality standards.
• Raise quality awareness across all production departments, effectively implement Non-Correct Control Points, help reduce risks or claims from customers.
2. Problem-Solving:
• Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly to avoid production delays.
• Collaborate with factory teams to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and ensure customer quality complaints are handled properly and on time - develop and implement solutions with customers - propose corrective action plans to the factory.
3. Communication and Coordination:
• Communicate with factory management and production teams to address quality concerns and implement solutions.
• Update information to the factory and related departments about quality progress.
4. Compliance Monitoring:
• Verify that all products meet Japanese regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
5. Continuous Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and recommend changes to enhance product quality.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
6. Training and Support:
• Provide guidance and training to factory staff on quality assurance procedures and Japanese manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure staffs are equipped to meet Japanese quality expectation.
• Main purpose of the short term is to train and establish TPG's effective QC/QA system.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, daily reports, including inspection results and corrective actions.
1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English
2. Educational Background: Degree in textile engineering, garment technology, or related field; ISO 9001 certification preferred.
3. Experience:
• 10 years in QA, technical insourcing, or manufacturing.
• Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and MS Office skills.
• Extensive QA experience with Japanese brands like Uniqlo's Quality and Safety Standards.
4. Technical Skills:
• Expertise in quality control processes, including inspections at various stages (From materials to finishing, washing, and packing).
• Knowledge of third-party and pre-shipment audits.
5. Problem-Solving Abilities:
• Address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with
merchandisers to track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Promote teamwork to solve production and quality concerns.
6. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and train quality inspection teams.
• Foster collaboration between departments.
• Communicate externally with customers and QAM.
7. Customer Approach:
• Incorporate customer feedback to improve product quality.
