Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop engineering documentation that ensures compliance with QMS, ISO 9001:2015, and quality control standards, while verifying alignment with customer manufacturing requirements.
Key Tasks:
• Develop and implement plans to achieve company quality objectives, while monitoring progress and results.
• Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure daily adherence to QMS procedures, assisting staff as needed.
• Draft and maintain procedures and work instructions.
• Collect performance data and generate monthly reports.
• Continuously analyze operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and promote the effective use of the Internal Reporting (IR) system.
• Develop and execute product design verification and testing plans.
• Transfer validated final product designs to project leaders for customer release.
• Report on the overall state of the QMS to management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering or a related field.
• Additional coursework in electronic design, embedded systems, industrial design, and project management is preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of two years of quality assurance experience, specifically applying ISO 9001 standards within engineering, product development, or manufacturing.
• At least one year of experience in test engineering, specializing in electronics, software, or mechanical systems.
Technical Knowledge
• General knowledge of manufacturing techniques and principles for electronic, software, and mechanical products.
• Solid understanding of QA laboratory testing, including test planning, test case development, and execution for mechatronic products (mechanical, electronic, firmware/software).
• Experience with QA test environments, including Jira, SVN, TestRail, or custom tracking tools like Excel.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment techniques, quality standards, alternative delivery systems, and customer satisfaction evaluations.
• Understanding product design verification testing methodologies for mechatronic systems.
• Expertise in test analysis, test reporting, deviation handling, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Six Sigma (preferred).
• Familiarity with industrial standards, including EtherCAT, Ethernet Conformance Test, PROFINET Conformance Test, and DeviceNet Conformance Test.
• Capabilities in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing at third-party labs (such as Quatest) and certification processes for CE compliance.
• Experience with Python, LabVIEW, DAQ, and PLC programming is a plus.
• Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.
