QS Engineer - Urgent

Key Responsibilities
1. Bidding & RFQ Management
• Prepare RFQ/ITB packages and manage the full tendering process.
• Handle tender clarifications, technical and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare cost comparisons and support Tender Evaluation Reports for approval.
2. Sourcing & Subcontractor Management
• Conduct market surveys and identify potential subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain the vendor database and support pre-qualification/evaluation.
• Assess subcontractors based on capability, experience, financial status, HSE and compliance.
3. Contract Administration
• Draft, review and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders and service agreements.
• Manage contractual correspondence and documentation.
• Identify potential contractual risks and prepare documents to prevent or resolve claims and disputes.
4. Schedule & Supply Chain Management
• Prepare and monitor procurement plans and tracking logs.
• Ensure subcontract packages are awarded according to project schedules.
• Follow up subcontractor mobilization, manufacturing and delivery status to minimize schedule delays.
5. Cost Management & Quantity Surveying
• Support drawing review, quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Support budget preparation, BOQ review and cost appraisal.
• Conduct value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities for new and ongoing projects.
