Quality and Compliance Manager (Toy/Garment/Footwear)

We are a British-owned company specializing in toy manufacturing across Asia, and we are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Manager based in Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality and compliance standards. You will lead the development and execution of QA strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee the entire quality assurance process from design to production. This position requires occasional travel to other countries, including Cambodia and Indonesia, to ensure our quality standards are upheld across all sites.
Working time: Monday to Friday
Location: Work from home, with frequent travel required
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the overall QA strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and product roadmap.
- Establishing QA processes and standards to ensure consistent product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Providing guidance and support in product assessment, testing, and product compliance.
- Collaborating with the design and production team to define quality criteria, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements for new features and products.
- Implementing and maintaining testing frameworks to ensure full test coverage.
- Monitoring product metrics and quality indicators, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Managing relationships with external QA vendors and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Conducting QA reviews, audits, and post-mortems to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring clear communication with customer services on all customer complaints/quality issues and providing clear feedback and information required.
- Setting up a clear protocol for quality issues occurring pre/during and post-production.
- Being responsible for global warehouse quality checks and monthly reporting.
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in product management and technology.
- Having the potential for travel to other parts of Asia to carry out factory visits.
