DHF PLATFORMS
Reshaping the future of fresh produce in Asia
Field QA • Quality Assurance Department
Location: Đà Lạt / Đức Trọng, Lâm Đồng, Vietnam | Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Field-Based)
About DHF PlatformsWe are a global platform dedicated to solving the problem of food waste by revolutionizing the distribution of fresh produce in Asia. We deliver high-quality, sustainably sourced produce with complete farm-to-fork traceability. Our mission is to connect smallholder farmers with new markets, streamline supply chains to reduce food waste, and mitigate the environmental impact of farming.
Role OverviewThis is a manager-level field QA role responsible for building and owning the quality assurance function across our sourcing operations. You will design the processes, SOPs, and audit frameworks that ensure every product we source meets food safety, compliance, and traceability standards. You will lead grower risk assessments, manage field inspections, and drive the certification roadmap.
This is not just an execution role - you are expected to build the QA system from the ground up. This role works closely with agronomists and procurement, and reports to the CEO/VP of Operations.
Responsibilities• Review and implement the end-to-end QA framework for sourcing operations - from grower onboarding through to produce acceptance at the factory gate
Develop and maintain SOPs, inspection checklists, audit protocols, and grower compliance documentation
Create and manage the grower risk assessment process - evaluate farm practices, chemical usage, water sources, hygiene conditions, and traceability systems for all new and existing suppliers
Plan and execute the field inspection and audit calendar; conduct both scheduled and unannounced audits at grower sites and pack-houses
Own the certification compliance roadmap - ensure all sourcing operations meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and organic certification standards; lead preparations for external audits
Establish non-conformance management processes: issue NCRs, define corrective actions, track closure, and analyse trends to prevent recurrence
Set up and manage pesticide residue testing protocols - coordinate sample collection schedules, lab relationships, and results tracking
Build supplier quality scorecards based on inspection data, audit results, rejection rates, and corrective action history; report performance to leadership
Train and coach growers on food safety best practices, certification requirements, and how to meet DHF quality standards
Collaborate with agronomists on crop health and pre-harvest quality assessments; work with procurement to align quality requirements with purchasing decisions
Ensure all QA documentation is audit-ready at all times - build systems for record-keeping, traceability, and data management
Recruit, manage, and develop QC officers as the team grows; set clear standards for inspection quality and field reporting
Continuously improve QA processes based on field data, customer feedback, and evolving certification requirements
Requirements• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety, with 2 years in a management or process-building capacity
Strong working knowledge of VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards is required; experience with organic certification, HACCP, or ISO 22000 is a strong advantage
Proven experience designing QA processes, SOPs, and audit systems - not just executing existing ones
Track record of conducting farm audits, field inspections, and supplier assessments in fresh produce or agriculture
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
Strong analytical skills - able to interpret inspection data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions
Comfortable working in the field daily - travelling to farms, walking fields, and working in all weather conditions
Excellent documentation and report-writing skills; able to build systems that scale
Good interpersonal skills - able to build trust with farmers while enforcing compliance standards
Vietnamese (native); professional working proficiency in English
What We Offer• Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)
13th-month salary
Travel and field allowance
Benefits as per Company Internal Regulations
