This position is accountable for all kinds of coating performance testing in the lab. It is this person's responsibility to compile all reports timely for internal and external customers and inform the appropriate team on any urgent attention needed to avoid any damage to the business due to poor section of products, wrong application, poor combination of products etc...
* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Be assigned the testing task under supervisor to support Commercial Team.
• Understand the testing process, testing protocol from different buyers and product portfolio.
• Make sure all the testing requirements are clear and available information before proceeding, if any information is unclear, revert to the requester and supervisor.
• Check carefully the panels submitted for testing to meet all input information before acting. And comprehend how many panels are needed to submit, aged time as standard, sealed well [protected info] each test and each product line.
• Identify number of days needed for testing, including aging, testing and reporting and communicating clear with requestor before and during the testing until complete project to make sure no any delay or pending task.
• Once the test is done, evaluate the results carefully and issue test report accordingly. Get the report signed by Group Leader if needed. Keep the reports both soft copy and hard copy within the lab for easy trace back.
• Report Supervisor/ GL / Chemist regarding any failed result OR any abnormality and then communicate to Requester for corrective action immediately.
• All testing data must be recorded according to internal & ISO standard.
• Fully comply with Lab 5S and PPE and Safety regulation.
