Job Description
Responsible for over-all financial reports and supporting information leveraged in external reporting. Acting as an internal consultant through analytical report on company operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded exhaustively, timely, and accurately.
- Ensure all accounting processes follow the accounting standard operating procedures of the company.
- Track and monitor revenue for accuracy (cost to cost / % of completion basis), ensure monthly accruals are properly adjusted, monitor and track debtors.
- Coordinate monthly closing process (journal entries, internal management reports, fix asset analysis, balance sheet review and account reconciliations).
- Leverage and drive adoption of new technologies for account reconciliation/ close management.
- Prepare Monthly Financial Statement and other reports as required.
- Provide preliminary analysis (Under the Guidance Leader/ Manager/ CF) --- A closing/ Opening Checklist is provided.
- Supporting
Finance Manager for establishing and enforcing financial and accounting policies and procedures, recommending actions.
- Any Other Assignments or tasks given by Manager, Director and CFO.
Expected Results:
- Ensure that the company's accounting records are fully, updated, accurate, and timely, demonstrating transparency and reliability of accounting information.
- Financial management support: Provide timely financial information and analysis to support management decisions related to financial strategy and business planning.
- Compliance with tax and accounting regulations to avoid legal issues and penalties.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
1-2 years of experience in general accounting
A thorough understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements is a must
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with the specific industry's revenue streams and financial practices can be crucial
Proven track record of leading and supervising a team
Project management skills to lead initiatives for process improvement and efficiency
Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and team members, proactive and adaptable to a fast-growing environment
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
Ability to perform financial analysis and risk assessments
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and data analysis capabilities
Competence in sustainability and understanding of procurement risks
Strategic vision to develop practical strategies for the retail environment
Operational management skills for inventory control and store layout optimization
Risk management abilities to identify and mitigate financial risks related to non-trade activities
