Company: Go Beyond Indochina
Department: Product
Reports to: Head of Product
Destinations: China, Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka
Location: Bangkok or Hanoi
Applications close: 20 September 2026
Overview
The Regional Product Manager for China, Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka reports to the company's Head of Product and owns the company's product offering across these six destinations. This position is based in Bangkok or Hanoi. Your first responsibility is our systems and our contracts: all supplier and product information must be collected, negotiated and stored in our databases in a timely and accurate manner, so that every department gets what it needs from Product without having to chase it. This role is crucial in supporting our teams by maintaining a comprehensive, current, and well-managed product database so that:
• Sales can quickly and accurately suggest and quote travel itineraries.
• Reservations can confirm bookings and reserve services efficiently.
• Quality can review and brief guides about operational details.
• Accounting can verify customer and supplier invoices for accuracy.
Because you cover six destinations, you will work largely independently and remotely with our suppliers and local partners. For these countries you are the single point of contact for our internal teams and for our agents.
Your priorities in this role, in order, are:
Priority 1: Systems, Contracting and Internal Service
• Keep supplier, service and pricing information for all six destinations complete, accurate and current in Tourplan and in our contract database.
• Complete annual rate negotiations and contracting for all six destinations on schedule, and communicate the results to the teams that depend on them.
• Serve Sales, Reservations, Quality and Accounting: answer their requests within the agreed turnaround times and clear any backlog inherited at handover.
• You will be measured on data completeness and accuracy in our systems, on contracting delivered on time, and on whether the other departments get what they need from Product for your destinations.
Priority 2: Proprietary Products
• Develop and launch one proprietary Go Beyond product in each of your six destinations by the end of 2027, owning it end to end: concept, route design, supplier negotiation, costing, systems set-up, and commercial launch.
• Build these products around what competitors cannot copy easily: our own itineraries, our own supplier relationships, and local entrepreneurs we develop ourselves.
• Work with Growth and Sales to position each proprietary product with the right agents, and track its performance after launch against the volume and margin targets agreed with the Head of Product.
Responsibilities
In addition to delivering on your priorities, you are responsible for:
Supplier Relationships and Contracting
• Actively communicating with our partners to develop trust and build mutually beneficial and equitable business relationships.
• Leading annual rate negotiations with suppliers in your destinations to obtain competitive but fair pricing, and any other conditions that facilitate the work of all teams.
• Evaluate internal feedback from GB teams and communicate to suppliers about their performance, prioritizing and coordinating actions for future improvement.
• Maintain our SharePoint-based contract database so that all teams can quickly search and retrieve information about our suppliers' services.
Product Information and Pricing
• Work with suppliers, usually on an annual basis, to obtain competitive but fair pricing while considering our customers' needs and translate that information into our Tourplan system.
• Work with suppliers to receive accurate information about their services so that you can include in our systems what is required to commercialize the services to our customers.
• Maintain existing suppliers and services in Tourplan, add new ones as needed, and build PCMs and packages according to the rules and methods negotiated with agents.
• Communicate changes to product information and pricing to our internal teams so that they know how to commercialize our products to clients.
• Communicate with our customers to keep them informed about relevant changes and seek feedback about improvements that enable them to improve the commercialization of our products.
• Coordinate with Quality to ensure a smooth operation of both existing and new tours.
Agent Programs
• Work with our agents to develop new programs that meet their business objectives and our financial expectations.
• Implement new programs in coordination with Sales, Reservations, Quality and Accounting such that our teams deliver these programs efficiently.
New Product Development
• Develop a deep knowledge of the company's products and suppliers to aid in coordinating new product development.
• Collaborate with Sales to inspect new destinations and develop training materials to enhance product and destination knowledge.
• Travel regularly to your destinations to inspect suppliers, validate routes, and build the local relationships your products depend on.
Working Across the Product Team
• Coordinate with the Thailand and Vietnam product teams so that methods, systems standards and pricing logic stay consistent across all our destinations.
• Share destination and supplier knowledge with junior colleagues supporting your destinations.
Team Growth and Development
• Monitor the workload and the commercial development of your six destinations, and plan how the team around you should grow: when an additional product or contracting resource is needed, where it should sit, and what volume or complexity justifies it.
• Present that plan to the Head of Product as part of the annual budget cycle, and revisit it whenever an agent, a destination or a proprietary product changes the workload materially.
• Once a hire is approved, recruit, onboard, train and develop that person, and delegate progressively so that you keep your focus on contracting, systems integrity and proprietary product development.

Yêu cầu

• 3 to 5 years' experience in the product and/or contracting department of a destination management company or inbound tour operator.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating rates and contracts with travel suppliers.
• Demonstrated discipline in maintaining product and rate data in a reservation system, accurately and on schedule.
• Demonstrated experience building and launching new tour products, from route design through costing.
• Experience managing suppliers remotely, across more than one country.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience with tour management systems, in particular Tourplan, is highly valued.
• Experience communicating cross-culturally, particularly in Asia.
• Experience working collaboratively with B2B customers.
• Experience mentoring or supervising a colleague is valued: this role is expected to build and lead a small team as the destinations grow.
• Willingness to travel regularly across your destinations.
What We Value
• Initiative. You identify what needs doing and act without being asked.
• Attention to detail. You know that a wrong price in a system costs everyone downstream.
• Client focus. You think about the agent and the traveler, not just the task.
• Cultural sensitivity. You move comfortably across Asia's diversity of languages, customs and business norms.
• Collaboration. You keep Sales, Reservations, Quality and Accounting informed and never leave them guessing.
• Adaptability. You manage ambiguity well in a business where change is constant.
What We Offer
• Travel. Complimentary and heavily discounted access to Go Beyond itineraries across Asia. Regular destination travel is part of the job.
• Leave. 30 days per year, inclusive of public holidays.
• Health. Group health insurance.
• Location. Bangkok or Hanoi, with flexibility to manage your schedule around your destinations.
• Mandate. A broad, senior role from day one, in which your work has direct commercial impact.
• Development. Support for professional development relevant to your role and your destinations.
Salary range: 24M - 26M/ month
How to Apply
• Applications close on 20 September 2026. We review applications on a rolling basis and may close early.
