Our client, a global FMCG company, is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager in the Mekong Region. This role will develop growth strategies based on market analysis and lead the team to achieve sales targets, expand customer coverage, and strengthen brand presence. By leveraging all available resources-budgets, people, trade advantages, and distribution systems-you will drive revenue, market share, and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FMCG sales management, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to build strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
1. Sales Management & Strategy Execution
- Lead and manage the sales team in the Mekong region
- Achieve sales targets, coverage, and distribution goals
- Contribute inputs and feedback to shape regional sales strategies and objectives
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual planning related to outlet coverage, distribution networks, merchandising standards, and hygiene
- Forecast long-term sales and analyze trends for the region
2. Field Execution & Program Deployment
-Deploy sales targets and sales fundamentals: number of calls, new outlet development, drop size, product distribution, merchandising, etc.
- Implement trade and consumer promotions as well as sales programs aligned withthe company's Route-to-Market strategy
- Ensure the execution of sales policies, distributor investments, and Point-of-Sales Material usage
3. Business Performance Monitoring
- Identify issues, develop and implement solutions, and evaluate results
- Monitor and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs are achieved
- Track competitor activities and market dynamics to provide timely reporting and insights
4. Reporting & Administrative Oversight
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports: daily/weekly/monthly
- Consolidate monthly regional performance reports
- Verify distributor incentive programs, trade promotions, and reimbursement processes
5. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributors and key customers
- Ensure distributor alignment with company expectations and business growth goals
6. Team Development
- Coach, train, and support the personal and professional development of sales team members
- Plan career paths and succession planning to ensure team continuity and capability
Yêu cầu
- University graduate
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Senior ASM in the FMCG sector
- 10+ years total experience in FMCG is preferred - more experience is a plus
- Familiar with sales operations and distributor management in the Mekong Region
- Good English communication skills
- Strong skills in: team management, data analysis, problem-solving, training & development, presentations, and leadership
