Remote 100% - 3D Character Artist (Stylized, Mobile Games)

About us
Colacy is a games company based in Germany. We build mobile casual games with a deliberately small, fully remote team across Europe, Asia and Latin America, and we are organised around output rather than hours.
The opportunity
We're looking for a 3D Character Artist who loves stylized characters. You'll create the characters our players see first: heroes, enemies and side characters that look fun, read clearly on a phone screen and run smoothly on mobile.
What you'll do
Model stylized game characters from concept or reference, from blockout to final asset
Sculpt, retopologise and UV with clean, mobile-friendly topology and low polycounts
Texture in a stylized look (hand-painted or stylized PBR)
Prepare characters for rigging and animation and export them for Unity
Create character, outfit and accessory variations for game content
Work closely with game designers and developers and share your progress daily
Requirements
What you bring
A portfolio with stylized 3D characters (cartoon, casual, chibi or similar)
Blender, Maya or 3ds Max, plus ZBrush or a similar sculpting tool
Substance Painter or hand-painted texturing
Understanding of mobile constraints: polycount, texture size, clean topology
Working English, written and spoken
Nice to have
Basic rigging or skinning
Unity or other game engine experience
Mobile or casual game experience
Some 2D or concept skills
