Remote Job - Game Designer (Level Design Focus) - Mobile Puzzle Games

About Us
Happy Lemon Games is a fully remote game studio. We build hybrid-casual puzzle games for a global mobile audience, working with some of the biggest mobile publishers. Our team is small, international and fast-moving - and we're growing it in Vietnam.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Level Designer (independent contractor model) to design, build and tune the levels of our future hits. You'll own how each level plays: the layout, the difficulty ramp, the "aha" moments, and how the whole set of levels keeps players coming back. Your work goes straight into Unity and straight to real players.
What You'll Do
- Design and build levels in Unity for our hybrid-casual puzzle titles
Shape difficulty curves and progression across level sets
Playtest and iterate, and tune levels based on player data
Work closely with developers, artists and product on level flow and pacing
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- -2 years of experience in level design with Unity
A feel for pacing, difficulty and player motivation in casual/puzzle games
Comfortable working with data and feedback to improve levels
A portfolio of games you designed levels for
Working English, written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Experienced in working with data
Familiarity with modern AI tools
