The Job
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications for server-side development. The ideal engineer should have a strong background in full-stack development, with essential skills in Backend and Frontend technologies.
The team will work closely with the Product Owner within an Agile team which will conduct sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and daily standups.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code in Golang for server-side development;
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using ReactJS;
- Design and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs;
- Integrate web applications with AWS services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing user interfaces;
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices;
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Your Skills and Experience
We are open to candidates who work with other Backend programming languages but are willing to switch to Golang.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development;
- Proficient in Backend development, particularly in data modeling, database design, and optimization
- Skilled in Frontend development with a focus on providing UI/UX consulting in partnership with designers;
- English is required at the B1 level as a minimum requirement. The candidate needs to speak for himself during the daily standup, sprint planning, and sprint retro.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Apache Hadoop with Spark;
- Experience in building ETL pipelines for data lake/data warehouse with AWS or GCP.
