At VHALT, we are dedicated to pioneering sustainable solutions within the renewable energy sector, focusing on connecting manufacturing industries in Vietnam, acting as the bridge between our trusted investment partners. Our vision is to grow renewable services across SEA, connecting more industries to our partners and unlocking sustainable solutions for our customers.
What we are looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team. The primary role of Business Development Manager (BDM) will be to drive B2B sales for C&I RTS systems, connecting industries with VRS investment partners. The successful candidate is expected to leverage their existing network, client base and industry knowledge to implement sales strategies for varying business sectors. Where further opportunities are available, the BDM is expected to upsell existing clients for other renewable services that VRS can offer through it's reputable industry partners. The BDM will manage the sales process with the support of the management team, targeting large local companies, FDI's and MNC's. The successful candidate will receive training to enable the execution of a number of sales strategies across our sales models, responsible in managing clients from pre-feasibility to final offer stage with our selected investors.

What your Job role will include :
Reporting to management team based in Vietnam
Generating direct sales leads/opportunities for C&I solar portfolios, focused on MNCs or large Vietnamese manufacturing Companies.
Key Partner Management (Investors & EPC's)
- supporting the closing of project opportunities with partners
- supporting setup and negotiation for strategic partnerships in Vietnam
-supporting preparation of commercial offers for clients
-sophisticated liaison and communication management between prospect client and investment partners
- Key account management during the sales cycle.
Leading sales pipeline management to create accurate and meaningful forecast numbers.
Support our partners in the negotiation of commercial terms and associated documents between VRS and client (Supporting contractual discussions may be required time-to-time).
Represent and attend conferences, business meetings and industry events on behalf of VRS. Keep abreast of Industry updates and regulations and attend and speak at industry events.
Nurture new partner relationships to drive sales e.g. with Industrial Parks or Business Groups Development sales collateral.
Travel within Vietnam required - Opportunity for travel to other SEA markets will be available upon expansion.
Application Requirements :
Formal Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree majoring in Engineering, Business Development or related field.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Minimum 5 years of working experience in industrial/ B2B sales/ business development.
Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the solar energy industry in Vietnam preferred (Experience in other renewable services is desired but not essential)
Target focused high achiever required with proven track record in delivering to sales targets.
Good understanding of Solar Technology and Power Purchase Agreements a plus
Strong attention to detail and customer focused
Good understating of the competitive and regulatory landscape for solar and energy in Vietnam a plus
Strong network among MNCs , Contractors, Business Forums and Govt within Vietnam is highly desirable
Experience in drafting, negotiating and Commercial offers
Familiarity in contract engineering and project management
Candidate Profile
- Must be fluent English and Vietnamese (written and spoken & other languages a plus but not essential)
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter, a positive team player is a must , with the agility to thrive in a fast changing market.
- Having experience in other aspects of Solar energy projects is highly desirable.
- Rewarding compensation and performance bonus structure to attract high achievers.
