Revenue Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for implementing of revenue management strategies in order to optimize and maximize the hotel revenues.
MAIN DUTIES
Manages rooms and function space inventory and ensures inventory is allocated and restricted properly to maximize revenue and profits
for hotels in the market.
Responsible for building rates, packages and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel inventory systems.
Conducts analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel rooms and space inventory.
Position contributes to forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections.
Position critiques sales strategy effectiveness and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities.
Revenue management, and distribution strategy of the hotel day to day yield operations.
Competitive benchmark studies are created, and the market trends are followed.
Creates and develops pricing strategies in conjunction with hotel business plan.
Performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc...) is evaluated.
Responds quickly and proactively to guest's concerns and provides excellent customer service.
Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
Manages day-to-day operations, drives quality, and verifies standards are meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
