Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities at our theme entertainment fabrication factory. You will ensure compliance with Vietnamese regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture across all production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and safety management systems.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify and eliminate hazards.
- Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities for high-risk operations such as hot work, work at height, lifting operations and confined spaces.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Organize HSE training, toolbox talks and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor fire protection systems, emergency preparedness and conduct emergency drills.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, ISO 45001 principles and company HSE standards.
- Prepare HSE reports, maintain safety records and monitor corrective action progress.
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental performance.
Yêu cầu
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction or other industrial environments.
- Good knowledge of Vietnamese HSE regulations and ISO 45001.
Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, PTW systems and safety inspections.
- Familiar with machinery safety, welding, chemicals, lifting operations and work at height.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Fluent Vietnamese with working English.
- Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification.
- Experience in multinational manufacturing or fabrication environments.
- First Aid, Fire Safety or other HSE certifications are an advantage.
