Job Overview:
Promoting Asia Strategic Holdings' Business Unit (BUs) range of services and generate opportunities and revenues from new clients in the designated area or designated type of clients. Be responsible of the revenue generating cycle from identifying opportunities to until contract signing including tendering stage and handover to Operations team.
Scope of work:
1. Lead generation and customer's acquisition:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, reactivate old customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
Input all data related to commercial activities into the CRM including customers contacts details, opportunities, proposals, etc.
Generate leads through cold call prospective customers
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone or videoconference to identify client's needs and present BUs range of services
Develop relationships with customer
Whenever needed, will seek support from Subject Matter expert to attend customer meetings for more detailed presentation of BUs services
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis
Periodic weekly/monthly activity report to line manager
Preparing the budget for new clients for coming year
Tender stage:
Coordinate with related department like Human Resources, Operation etc., to make sure proposals are prepared on time, as per customer requirements, and as per BUs terms and conditions and acceptable margin level
Lead negotiation with customers about the offer including prices and contractual terms within BUs acceptable boundaries
Hand Over after contract signing:
Lead the Hand over process to Operations teams, Account Management team, Product Managers, HR team, Finance team and Management
Marketing:
Participate to Marketing events such as seminars, exhibitions, etc

At least 5 years of experience in Business development/sales functions
Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
Stellar negotiating skills and capacity to align on organizational objectives
Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally
Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise clients about them
Ability to prepare clean customer presentations in Powerpoint and / or Word
Experience with CRM software would be an advantage
Ability to think strategically
At least 5 years of experience in Business development/sales functions
