Managing assigned accounts to achieve budgeted revenues for the current year, along with future year pre-booking goals
Securing and maximizing all sales opportunities from the determined market (Groups Segment
Develop/ maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
Ensure the preset monthly Individual Sales targets are achieved or exceeded by soliciting past and new business
Assist in the development of the Sales and Promotion plan for each property
Establish a regular sales call pattern for meeting with principles of target markets
Conduct targeted, results driven sales calls
Forecast, analyze and report on Sales results
Record all sales activities within the Salesforce system. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
Liaise closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure efficient and regular communication of sales activities
Actively source new accounts and develop existing accounts to meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments
Assist the Group Director of Sales in developing strategic sales plans where necessary
Effectively measure and report on a timely basis, sales results with updated strategies and competitor information as required.
Maintain regular contact with key contacts in the appropriate market segments and sales calls
Attend meetings as required
Effectively communicate with clients in a friendly and positive manner
Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures
Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike
