About the Role
We are looking for a Senior
Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to help shape and drive Timo's test automation strategy across mobile, backend, and integration layers.
You will own the design, build, and continuous improvement of our automation frameworks - partnering closely with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to raise the bar on release confidence, system reliability, and overall product quality. Beyond writing tests, you will define how Timo tests at scale and mentor others to do the same.
You will report to QA Lead.
What You Will Do
Define and own Timo's test automation strategy across mobile apps, backend services, and integrations
Design and build scalable, reusable automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and data layers
Identify high-risk areas and critical user journeys, and ensure they have proper automated coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing
Analyze test results and drive quality improvements, close coverage gaps proactively
Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to improve system reliability and release confidence
Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and tooling

You'll be joining a team of experts who are technically savvy, creative, and who share the intention of reinventing banking in Vietnam. You work closely with international architects and front-end consultants, product managers, and
designers to develop the system. You will learn a lot from them.
