As Seafreight Export Manager you hold the strings:
● To build the relationship with customers to have a deep knowledge of customer needs.
● To co-ordinate with overseas offices/ local Sales Team to handle "SE shipment" smoothly and productively.
● To carry out troubleshooting of daily operation and the team to determine faulting areas and propose the best solution for the Team as well as the Company.
● To create the procedures and the specifications to follow the execution of projects in the organization, and specify product requirements for operational success.
● To build a strong team and develop a positive relationship among team members.
● To communicate with different type/level of people to establish a rapport with team members and other departments.
● To measure and track individual personal performance and provide the feedback to management team to improve the overall organization performance.
● To assign tasks to team members in such a way that the more pressing tasks are completed first.
● To mentor team members, identify lapses, and conduct training on the job to equip staff with knowledge of developing trends in order to build a high skilled department.
● To ensure that members of staff adhere to client's specifications in the course of production to guarantee client satisfaction.
● To coordinate transactional operations and monitor ongoing business processes in the organization.
● To ensure that members of the operations team adhere to company rules and work ethics.
● To arrange to visit "regular customers" frequently and join the meeting with Sale Team if any.
