Viettel Cyber Security is developing Autonomous SOC - an Agentic AI platform for Security Operations, aiming to fully automate the process from Detection → Reasoning → Response.
Instead of just using AI to support Analysts, the project focuses on building a system where AI Agents can analyze, reason, coordinate, and execute Security tasks according to workflows,
while being controlled by Human-in-the-loop mechanisms, Guardrails, and Access Control. You will be the Security Domain Expert of the project, responsible for converting Security Operation knowledge and experience into workflows, frameworks, and operating principles for the Autonomous SOC. Deep AI background is not required; knowledge of AI/Agentic AI is an
advantage.

Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Analyze and standardize Security Operation processes: Research Detection, Triage, Investigation, Incident Response activities, and build suitable processes, workflows, and
decision frameworks. - Build Security Framework & Methodology: Standardize security tasks, competencies, decision-making criteria, and escalation mechanisms based on frameworks like
NIST/NICE and best practices. - Design operation and control mechanisms: Define authorization principles, risk levels, Human-in-the-loop, and conditions to safely automate Security activities.
- Build Security Benchmark & Assessment: Develop criteria and scenarios to evaluate the capability, accuracy, and reliability of Security processes/tasks.
- Coordinate with the AI/Engineering team: Translate Security requirements and operations into requirements/workflows for the technical team to deploy on the Autonomous SOC platform.
- Evaluate and improve: Analyze operational results, real cases, and propose improvements to processes, frameworks, and control mechanisms.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Security Operations/SOC, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Threat Hunting, or Security Engineering.
- Strong understanding of SOC operations and the ability to analyze and standardize security processes into workflows and decision frameworks.
- Strong logical, systematic, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze problems and assess risks.
- Ability to work with clearly defined frameworks, methodologies, and processes rather than relying solely on personal experience.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams to translate Security requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to analyze and structure complex problems.
- Ability to make decisions based on evidence and risk.
- Ability to clearly document business requirements and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and ability to work with multiple teams, including Security, AI, Software Engineering, and Product/Service Owners.
- Proactive approach to researching and learning new technologies, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Preferred candidates will have:
- Good knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST NICE Framework, or equivalent frameworks/standards.
- Experience developing or standardizing Security Processes, Security Workflows, Security Playbooks/Runbooks.
- Understanding of Risk Assessment, Incident Response, Security Controls, Access Control, and Least Privilege.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM/Agentic AI or experience participating in Security automation projects is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics...
