The Security Test Engineer will work along with team members and customer, report directly to the project manager. You need to ensure project quality and services work in a fully integrated manner as expected by the customer, follow software development process, and contribute ideas to improve the project quality.

Working location: Hitachi Vantara Vietnam Co., Ltd - Quang Trung Software City, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

What you'll be doing

• Design, create and execute penetration tests on Web, Mobile and Infrastructure.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis on customer facing applications, websites, and large enterprise networks.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality penetration tests.
• Provide reports that clearly articulate vulnerabilities and weaknesses to clients.
• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design and develop Security test plans, test cases, execute test cases, analyze, and report test results to the teams.
• Work in partnership with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria.

What you bring to the team

• A degree in Computer Science in Software engineering or Information technology or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical role in the areas of security operations, threat intelligence, cyber incident response, or penetration testing/red team.
• Experience in design and develop test cases, test procedures and test data.
• Experience in OWASP top TEN & penetration test.
• Experience in attack web.
• Experience in Development, Install web Apache, Java.
• Experience in Network (Traffic package, encryption).
• Experience in testing process and defect tracking software.
• Very comfortable working in an Agile DevOps oriented capacity, alongside development partners.
• Good at English, ability to read & understand the English document, ability to communicate fluently.

Good to Have

• CISA, CSSLP or CEH certification
• Advanced experience using analysis tools (e.g., file/network/OS monitoring tools and/or debuggers)
• Hands-on experience in scripting e.g., Bourne/Korn Shell, Python/Perl/Ruby/Go.
