Senior Backend Developer - Golang Main Language

🚀 TD Consulting is supporting our client in expanding their Senior Backend Engineering team for a global FoodTech platform operating across 50+ countries and processing millions of transactions every day.

🧩 What will you be responsible for?
Design, develop, and operate
microservices in Golang
(Python is a plus)
Build backend components for
globally distributed systems
Develop and optimize
real-time, high-throughput APIs
Ensure
scalability, reliability, and performance
of core services
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and Agile processes with the
EU engineering team
🧠 Core requirements
6+ years of backend development experience
, including experience with high-load systems
Experience in
E-commerce / Logistics / FinTech
is preferred
Strong Golang proficiency - mandatory
, with at least
4 years of hands-on Golang experience
Solid understanding of
Microservices Architecture & Event-driven Architecture
Production experience with
AWS
(ECS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) and
PostgreSQL
Fluent English
, confident in live coding and technical discussions
Strong
system thinking, ownership, and problem-solving mindset
➕ Nice to have
Experience with
Airflow
or other ETL orchestration tools
Knowledge of
CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring/observability
Experience working with
high-traffic, high-availability systems
