Senior Engineer, Facility

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility utility systems through preventive maintenance, technical support, equipment reliability improvement, risk management, and technician development. Supports facility expansion projects, operational continuity, and compliance requirements while driving cost-effective and sustainable facility operation
Lead the Facility Technician team and oversee daily facility operations, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop team capabilities, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with company policies and ISO management system
Education & Experience
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in managing facility engineering activities, including the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of utility systems such as HVAC, DIW (Deionized Water), compressed air, and waste management systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or mechanic Electrical Engineering (Refrigeration) or related engineering discipline

Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals. Works in standard office/manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in industrial and facility environments, perform field inspections, access utility and equipment areas, and respond to operational needs and emergency situations as required. Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, and perform duties in compliance with safety requirements.Safety Requirements
