Senior Informatics Technical Specialist, Abbott Core Diagnostics

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines- 3-5 years of experience installing, configuring and/ or maintaining diagnostics laboratory informatics applications or relevant comparable experience- Sound understanding of diagnostics laboratory workflows and related technologies- Relevant hands-on experience and technical expertise in implementing, configuring and integrating laboratory information systems, middleware and/or analyzer management systems, or inventory management systems used in diagnostics laboratories- Demonstrated technical proficiency and leadership in solutions design, systems architecture, implementation planning, problem resolution, et al, specifically with regards one or more laboratory systems mentioned earlier, and delivering customer value- Proven ability to execute assigned tasks with a high degree of commitment and quality, independently, with ownership and accountability for solving complex problems- Experience database management and healthcare interface experience or relevant comparable experience- Excellent customer facing skills; strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at different levels of the organization- Attention to detail and a concern for quality; action oriented for solving problems- Able to innovate and willing to bring ideas forward, mitigate/ resolve escalated issues- Direct leadership experience
