The Job

In May 2020, GoodData announced a strategic partnership and investment from Visa. This will help to increase the company focus on interactive self-service analytics, user interfaces and data visualizations, as well as expand customer support for managing complex data governance, compliance, cybersecurity, and privacy matters.

What you will do

• Write high quality, maintainable code using TDD and DDD.
• Design and implement microservice architecture within the given domain.
• Contribute deeply to the architecture and design.
• Troubleshoot and fix customer and system issues.
• Develop new features in a stable system with important factors such as security, scalability and performance.
• Be in charge of maintaining a stable system and share operation jobs to make sure the system works properly.
• Actively participate in the Agile team applying Scrum technologies.

Your Skills and Experience

Skills:

• Analytical, problem solving abilities are your strengths.
• Experience working on multitasking and prioritizing.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Know how to make decisions, explain and present.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in software development: product specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Strong development experience with Java and willing to learn other programming languages (Python, Scala, Kotlin, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in relational database design, transactional SQL and DBMS (Vertica, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or MSSQL).

Advantage Qualifications:

• Hands-on programming experience with one of the following: Spring framework, Python, Kotlin, Scala.
• Experience in REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
• Experience & Interested in CI/CD Jenkins, GitOps, Docker containers, Splunk, K8s, Public vs. Private Cloud, and operations tools Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck, etc.
