Main Responsibilities:
1. Performance monitoring & Troubleshooting
Receive anomaly and performance-degradation signals from the Data Analytics team.
Investigate systematically using PR trends, string-level data, and site telemetry.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Build and execute performance-recovery plans for older projects - soiling, module degradation, inverter derating, string imbalance, connector heating.
2. Cross-functional coordination & Continuous improvement
Proactively coordinate with internal teams (Design, Project Management, Data Analytics) and external partners (inverter suppliers, PV module suppliers, EPC and other equipment vendors) to drive issues to full resolution.
Capture key incidents as lessons learned and integrate them into design specifications, procurement checklists, and field execution playbooks to prevent recurrence.
3. Contract, warranty & risk support
Support the Deputy Director on external O&M service-provider management, construction-contractor warranty claims, and renewable-asset insurance coordination (Machinery Breakdown, Property All Risk).
4. Reporting & Compliance
Contribute to monthly reporting (Technical Review & Executive Summary) and coordinate with Finance and Investment teams on asset performance.
Maintain compliance with the Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS), IEC 61724, and the Vietnamese regulatory framework; lead site safety audits and corrective-action close-out.
5. Team development
Design and deliver internal training courses on PV systems, inverter behavior, BESS fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
6. Ad-hoc matters
Perform other tasks assigned by the Deputy O&M & Technical Director.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or related fields.
5 years of experience in solar PV O&M, preferably within C&I distributed portfolios.
Rooftop experience preferred; exposure to utility-scale or wind projects is a plus.
Good understanding of PV systems: modules, string/central inverters, transformers, protection, and low/medium-voltage devices.
Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) fundamentals is an advantage.
Ability in systematic troubleshooting for C&I PV plants.
Demonstrates critical thinking through data-driven analysis, with strong ownership and initiative to proactively drive issues to resolution.
Proficiency in Excel (Power Query, PivotTable), Power BI for dashboarding, and basic Python for data analysis.
Experience using AI tools (Eg: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate engineering analysis, drafting, and troubleshooting is a strong plus.
Fluent English communication skills, able to work directly with inverter suppliers, EPC partners, and international customers and investors.
