Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Your responsibilities

• Manage DB health and services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security, tuning, and performance, as well as backups and recovery plans.
• Execute disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunctions.
• Support development teams on database aspects.
• Join operations sessions with customers for live monitoring, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning of production databases.
• Monitor and resolve issues in both Production and Integration environments.
• Coach, supervise, or lead other team members when necessary.
• Continuously improve through transformation and architecture initiatives related to OCI Cloud, AWS, and MongoDB.

Your qualifications

• Strong experience Oracle Database service on OCI and AWS in large-scale production environments, covering DR, performance, backup, and full administration.
• Strong experience on database optimization: PL/SQL/ turning/....
• Experience on MongoDB
• Good English communication skills
• At least 5-7 years experience in Oracle DB
• Bachelor's Degree

• Experience IaC - Terraform, Ansible
• Knowledge with other databases (MSSQL, Postgres,...)
• Willingness to work on Shifts schedule
