Senior Python Engineer AWS, SQL

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Risk Management team at EPAM Vietnam. You will be the one who facilitates the migration of the risk management and financial reporting platform from KDB to Python/SQL. If you have solid knowledge and working experience in Python, SQL, AWS, and an interest in cryptocurrency, this position is perfect for you.

• Analyse and migrate existing business functionality from KDB to Python
• Analyse and migrate existing data structures from KDB to SQL Database
• Provide integration framework to test migration of data and functionality
  

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Python and SQL
• Experience in deploying and maintaining Python components on Kubernetes
• Experience working with AWS (S3, EKS, IAM, Terraform), or other cloud providers
• Following TDD/BDD methodologies and clean coding practices
• Comfortable working with developer tools such as GIT, Jira, and Confluence
• Familiar with automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (e.g., GitLab/GitHub)
  

Nice to have

• Experience in developing distributed components that communicate over middleware solutions such as NATS, Kafka, Tibco, and LBM
• Having UI Development experience with React/Redux
• Interacting with and querying KDB datasets
